Requirements :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to oversee the end-to-end logistics operations for our medical device sales business. The Logistics Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-efficient distribution of products to meet customer needs, while complying with healthcare industry regulations and standards. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Logistics Coordination :

o Supervise and manage the logistics team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of medical devices to customers.

o Oversee the planning, organizing, and execution of transportation, inventory management, and distribution operations.

o Coordinate with internal departments (sales, marketing, and customer service) to align logistics strategies with company objectives.

2. Inventory and Warehouse Management :

o Maintain accurate inventory levels of medical devices and supplies.

o Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory control procedures are followed, with a strong focus on minimizing product loss or damage.

o Work closely with warehouse teams to optimize space and inventory rotation, ensuring that medical devices are stored under proper conditions as per regulatory requirements.

3. Compliance & Regulatory Standards :

o Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant healthcare regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies (e.g., FDA, ISO, GxP).

o Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.

o Ensure proper documentation for all shipments, including certificates of analysis, shipping manifests, and compliance documentation for medical device shipments.

4. Team Leadership & Development :

o Lead, train, and develop logistics staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.

o Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous feedback to team members.

o Promote a collaborative and positive work environment, ensuring open communication across departments.

5. Supplier and Vendor Management :

o Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors, suppliers, and transportation providers.

o Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure cost-effective, timely, and high-quality services.

o Negotiate contracts and rates with vendors and service providers.

6. Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement :

o Resolve any logistics issues that may arise, such as delivery delays, damage, or order discrepancies.

o Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.

o Leverage data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement in logistics operations.

7. Reporting & Documentation :

o Generate and analyze regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, delivery metrics, and other relevant KPIs.

o Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for shipments, returns, and customer orders in compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience :

o 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably within the medical device or healthcare sector.

o Experience in managing inventory and distribution channels for regulated products is a plus.

  • Skills & Competencies :
  • o Strong understanding of medical device regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GxP).

    o Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

    o Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

    o Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

    o Proficient in logistics software, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
