About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Developer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining insightful Power BI reports and dashboards, leveraging the power of Microsoft Fabric to deliver actionable business intelligence. This role requires a deep understanding of Power BI, Microsoft Fabric's capabilities, and data integration techniques. You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to build end-to-end data solutions that drive informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric to integrate, manage, and analyze data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Leverage Lakehouse and/or Warehouse within Microsoft Fabric for optimized data storage, management, and analytics.
- Implement and manage incremental data loads and refreshes to maintain up-to-date data.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists on end-to-end data solutions within the Fabric ecosystem.
- Optimize data models and visualizations for performance and scalability within Fabric.
- Implement real-time analytics and data processing using Fabric's capabilities.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance within the Fabric framework.
- Provide training and support to team members on Power BI and Fabric best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including data integration, data engineering, and real-time analytics components.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and other Power BI technologies.
- Understanding of Medallion Architecture and query optimization strategies.
- Experience with Azure services and their integration with Microsoft Fabric.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI and machine learning models within the Fabric environment.
- Familiarity with Power Automate and the Power Platform.
