Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced S/4HANA SAP Senior Project Manager to join our team. This individual will lead and manage the full implementation cycle of SAP S/4HANA solutions for Finance and Order to Cash processes. The Project Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role will involve managing multiple vendors and ensuring that dependencies and integrations are tracked effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning:

• Work with the project team, stakeholders, and system implementors to define the project scope, goals, benefits, and deliverables.
• Define and create end-to-end project plans covering all technical and non-technical activities from initiation to project completion.
• Partner with the Product Manager and/or Business Leads to define success metrics and criteria.

2. Delivery:

• Lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions, focusing on Finance and Order to Cash processes.
• Drive the project delivery to ensure it is completed on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope, quality, and stability.
• Evaluate trade-offs between project size, complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value.
• Establish mechanisms for reporting and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure dependencies and integrations are correctly managed to ensure complete delivery.

3. Risk and Issue Management:

• Proactively identify project delays, concerns, or risks and ensure they are addressed promptly.
• Manage risk across the project, ensuring risks are reported, escalated, mitigated, and closed appropriately.

4. Communication & Collaboration:

• Establish and manage dashboards and KPIs to drive transparency and aid decision-making.
• Provide clear communication to team leads and senior management regarding project status, issues, and priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and build trust across business units.
• Coordinate with all project vendors to ensure smooth delivery.

5. Management and Coordination:

• Ensure that projects are delivered according to the project agreements, scope, and budget.
• Provide support to project team members to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage resource management, including onboarding and offboarding for internal and vendor staffing.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of project management experience, specifically managing SAP projects.
• Previous experience with SAP S/4HANA ERP greenfield implementations.
• Experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of projects with multiple implementation partners.
• Proven experience managing and collaborating with both technology and business stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules and project delivery best practices.
• Strong experience in managing multiple vendors in complex projects.
• Familiarity with data standards and regulatory requirements (preferred).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative).
• Advanced experience with JIRA and PowerBI for project management.
• Proficient in Project and Portfolio Management tools such as MS Project, Visio, JIRA, and Clarity.
• Strong decision-making, multitasking, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and adapting to rapid development cycles.
