Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (C# APIs)

Location: Hybrid - Onsite 3 days per week at 173 Radiant Drive, Dania Beach, FL (Local candidates to Dania Beach ONLY)

Duration: 6 month contract

Job Summary:

Spirit Airlines is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on C# and API development. This role is part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining the backend systems that power customer-facing promotions and integrate with various partners. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of learning quickly and working semi-independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to be onsite in Dania Beach, FL, three days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable APIs using C# within the Microsoft technology stack.
• Contribute to the development of backend systems that drive customer promotions and bundle offerings on spirit.com.
• Support and enhance in-house applications critical to business operations.
• Develop and maintain integrations with external partners, including loyalty programs and financial institutions (e.g., Bank of America).
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Proactively identify and solve technical challenges.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and technologies.
• Work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Be adaptable and able to quickly absorb and apply new information.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in developing APIs.
• Proven expertise in C# programming.
• Solid understanding of backend development principles and practices.
• Experience working within the Microsoft technology stack.
• Must be located within commutable distance to Dania Beach, FL, and able to work onsite 3 days per week.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Service Bus.
• Experience with integration technologies and patterns.
• Experience working on customer-facing e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with partner integrations.
• Familiarity with loyalty program systems.
