Job Description
Position: Snowflake Functional Consultant
Type: 18 month contract to potential hire
Start Date: 2 weeks from offer
Location: Onsite - Downtown Miami (Brickell), 5 days/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from source systems, including Salesforce and Oracle Fusion, into Snowflake.
- Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across multiple systems, including Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, NetSuite, and Snowflake.
- Implement data validation and reconciliation processes to support accurate financial reporting.
- Perform data mapping and provide testing support for data integration projects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to data integration processes and data flows.
- Optimize Snowflake performance for efficient data processing and querying.
- Support the selection and implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma).
- Apply functional knowledge of Salesforce and Oracle Fusion tables to data mapping activities.
- Understand financial reporting principles, revenue recognition processes, and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Expertise in Snowflake and data warehousing concepts, including data modeling, ETL/ELT architecture, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience integrating data from Salesforce and Oracle Fusion into a data warehouse.
- Strong expertise in data mapping, with functional knowledge of Salesforce and Oracle Fusion data structures and tables.
- Solid understanding of BI tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Sigma.
- Understanding of financial reporting principles, revenue recognition, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Snowflake certification.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Experience with other cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
- Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Fivetran).
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
