Job Title: Solution Architect

Location: Chicago, IL Hybrid(Onsite 2 days/week)

Job Type: Contract

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of Conversational AI chatbot projects, leveraging NLP/NLU tools and frameworks.
• Architect and contribute to the development of Generative AI solutions, potentially involving Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models.
• Design and deploy chatbot solutions across various platforms, including web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture on AWS, utilizing services such as Lex, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Design and implement robust APIs for seamless integration of chatbot applications with backend systems.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and promote best practices in DevOps, including containerization (Docker) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and data scientists, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Conversational AI, GenAI, and cloud technologies.
• Document architectural designs, technical specifications, and deployment procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the deployed solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Absolute Must-Haves: Proven experience as a Solution Architect on at least one successfully deployed Conversational AI chatbot project.
• Demonstrable experience working on at least one Generative AI project.
• Conversational AI / NLP Implementation: Hands-on experience with NLP/NLU tools such as Amazon Lex, Google Dialogflow, Rasa, or Azure Bot Framework.
• Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models and their application.
• Experience in designing and deploying chatbot solutions for web and mobile platforms.
• Cloud Architecture: Strong preference for deep expertise in AWS, particularly services like Lex, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud-native services, including compute, storage, and networking architecture.
• Integration & DevOps: Experience designing and implementing APIs for integrating chatbot applications with backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Preferred Skills:

• Some prior exposure to Generative AI implementation.
• Python development experience.
