Technical Writer to set guidelines and standard procedures for producing documentation, establishing documentation schedules, and serve as the editing authority for final documents.Responsibilities
Creates and manages detailed program and project plans that map directly to larger team goalsIdentifies resource requirements, task owners, milestones, dependencies, and key risksLeads cross-functional internal teams through program milestones, serving as central coordination pointEnsures new and existing publications follow established documentation proceduresLeads internal process documentationEvaluates existing publications for quality, relevancy, and accuracyResponsible for creating documents from technical information provided by technical staff or ensuring documents produced by technical staff are consistent with formats and standardsDevelops custom programs for web sites that will attract and appeal to users and provide desired informationCreates web applications and components from the requirements stage, through design, through production deploymentPossesses a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operationsDevelops new web applications through packaged and customized applicationsCreates web front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C, VB, or other languages to make business applications accessibleDesigns and implements user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of useMay create company-wide IntranetDevelops database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharingDevelops external web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate informationExperienced in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as Java and ColdFusionQualifications
