Primary Purpose
Provide basic PEIMS support to all Region 11 local education agencies (LEAs) and comprehensive PEIMS support to all PEIMS Data Quality Services (PDQS) client LEAs as outlined in the PDQS contract.

Education/Certification
Associate degree or equivalent experience
Attended multiple PEIMS training sessions at TEA and ESC Region 11
Special Knowledge/Skills
Mastery of basic computer programs for the PEIMS process
Ability to teach district personnel in software use
Team-oriented and collaborative with ESC staff and LEA personnel
Knowledge of school reporting functions
Relate to administrators, staff, and vendors
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Understand PEIMS Data Standards and the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook
Proficient in preparing and presenting at least one PEIMS workshop
Experience
A good working knowledge of PEIMS and four years of experience working at a Regional Service Center or in a school district in a PEIMS environment.

Actively participate in and/or provide leadership for inter-departmental teams to help improve student performance in the region, to improve the ESC/s internal operations, and to meet the established goals and objectives for the ESC.
Is responsive as the first point of contact to all stakeholders in the education community.
Continuously study PEIMS processes, including PID and TSDS
Provide telephone support to LEA clients using Data Standards and SAAH
Assist in workshop training tasks
Prepare content and present at least one workshop
Proficient at all features of TSDS; assist in training sessions
Monitors district file production list and superintendent approvals
Verify district PEIMS data files
Other duties as assigned.

Computers, projection devices, control panels in meeting rooms, printers, productivity software, software specific to the job assignment, network resources, internet resources, and other hardware and software necessary to perform the functions of the job effectively and efficiently.

Mental: Public relations and people skills are always required, work with frequent interruptions, and maintain professional composure and confidentiality under stress.
Physical: Occasional prolonged and irregular hours, ability to move tables and chairs and load/unload boxes and materials. Prolonged use of a computer.
Environmental: Open cubicle/workstations
Evaluation
Annual performance evaluation will be performed in accordance with the adopted policies of the Education Service Center Region 11. Employment in this position is contingent upon performance, need, and funding.
