Primary Purpose:
To support the vision, mission, and strategic priorities of ESC Region 12. As director of the Information Services Department, you will lead an exceptional team of individuals who are dedicated to our schools and students of ESC Region 12. ESC Region 12 is looking for dynamic leaders willing to learn and grow within an organization of leaders.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Master's Degree
- Appropriate Administrative Certification or Related Work Experience
- 3-5 Years as Central Office or ESC Administrator
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent “people” skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to facilitate, communicate, organize, and problem-solve
- Research capability

- Able to implement QMS initiatives

General Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the department and its projects
- Interviewing, hiring, and training prospective employees for the department
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with department-specific vendors
- Encouraging collaboration between department staff as well as the staff members of all ESC departments
- Maintaining positive relationships with our customer school districts
- Serve on the Administrative team
- Keep the Executive Cabinet informed
Supervisory Responsibilities:
May supervise, evaluate, and recommend hiring and firing of employees.

Travel: Frequent Travel within the region, state, and nation when appropriate
