Job Description
This part-time Counselor position (less than 50%) will support school districts in ESC Region 12 districts enrolled in the Personnel on Demand program providing counseling services including but not limited to the items listed below. Salary shown depends on the percentage worked.
Education/Certification
- Master's Degree
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification
- Valid Texas Counselor Certificate
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) preferred
- Three years of relevant experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing counseling services at the district/campus level preferred
- Secondary experience preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge of individual and group counseling skills
- Knowledge of prevention and intervention strategies, including behavior management interventions
- Technology application skills
- Strong organization, communication, public relations and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude, self-starter, team player
- Ability to initiate and complete projects
- Ability to implement QMS initiatives.
