Job Summary: Assist districts in increasing student achievement through the provision of staff development and technical assistance in the area of curriculum and assessment, data analysis, and instructional strategies in math.
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
Bachelor's Degree or required license
Prefer a Master's Degree in a related field
Experience:
At least 5 years of related experience.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Create, write, and present research-based, data-driven staff development for Region 7 customers based on needs assessment data.
2. Provide technical assistance to Region 7 customers for purposes of improving student performance.
3. Work collaboratively with all ESC staff in serving the customers of Region 7 ESC.
4. Demonstrate professional behavior in all interactions with ESC staff and customers.
5. Continue to achieve necessary competencies through professional development training.
7. Attend and actively participate in ESC-required meetings.
8. Adhere to ESC policies and procedures in the Region 7 ESC quality management system.
9. Provide SAT/ACT and TSIA prep courses for both teachers and students to help fulfill Priority 3.
10. Provide training and technical assistance to support Region 7 TEKS Resource System districts and campuses.
