What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Services Coordinator position at ESC Region 8?
Bachelor’s degree preferred; or as recommended
Minimum 5 years experience network administration and design
Recommended by the Executive Director

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Executive Director.
Attend all departmental staff meetings and general staff meetings
Ability to handle and see to completion multiple projects simultaneously.

Be willing to work as a member of a team
Provide technical support to assigned LEAs with Network Services contracts
Provide advanced support at the request of the Network Services Administrator to LEAs with Network Services contracts
Plan and coordinate, with LEA and ESC staff, network-related projects for LEAs with Network Services contracts
Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and uptime for the entire ESC virtual and physical server environment, as well as all ESC network components
Primary support for ESC network infrastructure including physical infrastructure, filter, firewall, Active Directory, and other network applications
Assist individual ESC employees with technology requests as needed
Up to 226 working days.
This is an at-will employment position.
In the event of an economic slump, a reduction-in-force may be necessary. Employees will be notified in writing.
