As a Proposal Engineer, you will:
- Respond to inquiries from the organization's sales force or customers about the technical aspects of the organization's products and services.
- Receive and review Requests for Quotations (RFQ’s) for the organization’s products and services. This includes reviewing drawings and specifications and other technical documentation associated with RFQ/RFPs to fully understand all technical requirements.
- Participate in discussions with prospective clients and the sales team to ensure a technical understanding of client’s needs.
- Coordinate inputs such as resource estimates, scope recommendations, etc., from key internal stakeholders, to determine resource and timeline estimates. Coordinate pricing and specification inputs from vendors as well. You will use these inputs to prepare cost calculations and provide a cost-effective solution for each customer’s specific need utilizing products and solutions from our portfolio.
- Attend customer meetings, as required, in support of the sales team to provide technical and commercial support related to the application.
- Develop relationships with members of the operations and sales teams to provide solutions that meet our customers’ needs and expectations.
What You'll Need:
- 4 years of Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS)
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Ability to work quickly, independently and effectively with a high degree of productivity
- Excellent skills with MS Office including Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to travel up to 15%
- Proven top-performer and team player in past positions
