Job Title: Network and Systems Administrator
Reports to: Director and/or Designee
FLSA Status: Exempt
Job Objective:
Design, install, and maintain network and systems components that meet Connect and customer requirements.
Provide technical support, recommend equipment upgrades, and administer software and system applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma. An Associate degree in a computer technology field is desired.
Two years of experience in Data Communication Networking, TCP/IP, routing, local area networks, VoIP phone systems, wireless/WLAN maintenance, and troubleshooting workstation software/hardware.
Valid CCENT (Cisco Certified Networking Technician) or CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) desired.
Proficiency in systems planning, hardware and software management, project management, and Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace..
Experience with Help Desk System utilization is desired.
Strong problem-solving skills, self-starter, and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Availability to be "on-call" for periodic tasks outside of normal working hours.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, install, and maintain network and systems components.
Provide technical support to staff and students.
Recommend equipment upgrades and enhancements to improve network and systems performance.
Administer software and system applications.
Ensure data security and confidentiality.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Coordinate procurement of hardware and software.
Provide training and support to school personnel and students.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers.
Maintain accurate equipment inventory and network diagrams.
Assist with ongoing projects, research, and recommend enhancements.
Install and maintain WAN/LAN and systems.
Design options to improve or upgrade school networks and systems.
