The Parma City School District is in Cuyahoga County with approximately 9000 students in grades pre-K through12. Students are educated in 6 elementary schools, 3 Middle Schools, 2 High Schools and 1 Pre-School
The District’s Strategic plan has identified 3 goals- Improving Student Achievement, Practice Fiscal Responsibility and Increase Transparency and Connection with Communities.

- Prior School Superintendent experience is preferred
- An excellent communicator- both verbal and written skills
- Holds a valid Ohio Superintendents License and understands Ohio school finance
- A collaborative and strategic leader
- Willingness to actively engage the community and various organizations
- Values teamwork
- Relationship builder who can build trust
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interactions with the Board of Education, staff, students, parents, and the community
- Ability to foster and maintain an atmosphere of respect, trust and transparency
