What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director Strong Foundations, TIL, Texas Lesson Study, and Curriculum I position at ESC2?
Direct and manage the assigned center and work with the TEA to inform content creation and development. Work closely with an agency provided program lead coach from the agency and participate in a yearly series of professional development conferences and other learning opportunities to build a set of skills and knowledge while collaborating with peers and improving TEA provided resources.
Experience:
- Seven years principal, principal manager, TIL Lead, Strong Foundations Lead, administrator, or cabinet level experience at an ESC, public school district, or university; or other appropriate experience
- Five years superintendent experience (preferred)
- Prior experience implementing HQIM and supporting district and campus leaders to implement HQIM (preferred)
- Working knowledge of state and federal funding regulations (required)
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for managing a team of district coaches who deliver the up-front training, implementation support, and coaching for district leaders, especially principal managers, on implementing instructional leadership systems with a focus on HQIM implementation.
- Responsible for supporting district coaches to manage teams of content coaches to deliver up front training, implementation support, and coaching to principals, campus leadership teams, and teachers aligned to implementing High Quality Instructional Materials, namely Bluebonnet Learning
- Manages the recruitment experience for prospective LEAs, including laying out expectations for program engagement, establishing which leaders will receive support at the district and campus levels, and the onboarding of leaders to understand requirements of the program.
- Manages the collection and analysis of data and metrics aligned to program success.
- Actively participate in "Program U," TEA focus groups, and consistent coaching connections with program lead coach.
- Contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement through attendance and participation at all required program professional development experiences.
- Support the alignment within the ESC 2 to provide LEAs coherent and aligned support, including diagnostics, advising, and capacity building.
