Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior analysis, particularly in working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication and documentation.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavior analysis.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, including the ability to conduct thorough evaluations.
- Familiarity with special education practices and regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
