Our client is a motivated to hire several Business Development Representatives to join their team in Santa Monica. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by identifying prospects, understanding their needs, and effectively promoting their clients Geospatial Services. The ideal candidate should possess at least one year of sales experience, showcasing a proven track record and successful case studies in selling software solutions. Flexibility to travel across the United States is essential for this position, collaborating closely with partners, consultants, and representing the company during business meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prospecting – Identifying and researching potential clients for enterprise software solutions through networking, social media, industry events, and outreach.
2. Lead Generation – Driving new sales leads through outreach, inbound lead follow-ups, and referrals while effectively managing leads in a CRM system.
3. Qualifying Leads – Assessing leads based on needs, budget, decision-making process, and timeline.
4. Product Presentation & Demonstration – Delivering compelling product demos and presentations to potential clients.
5. Handling Objections – Addressing concerns, providing additional insights, and adapting proposals as needed.
6. Proposal & Quote Creation – Preparing detailed sales proposals and pricing quotes while negotiating terms when necessary.
7. Closing Sales – Finalizing contracts and ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation and customer success teams.
8. Meeting Sales Targets – Working towards or exceeding sales quotas with commission-based incentives.
9. Collaboration – Engaging with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure seamless sales processes.
10. Reporting & Analysis – Maintaining detailed sales records and analyzing performance to optimize strategies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of successful sales experience, preferably in software solutions.
- Willingness to travel across the U.S. for meetings and events
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and articulate product benefits effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
