Our client offers a full range of new and used material handling and storage equipment from quality manufacturers at competitive prices. With over 50,000 square feet of new and used inventory, we provide immediate delivery to many requirements.
Additionally, their storage equipment CAD design and layout services provide accurate, timely and changeable solutions. Their in house fabrication department allows us to modify and manufacture equipment to meet the needs of your unique applications.

Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will lead the sales team in developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth, customer retention, and high-performance results. This role involves structuring sales processes, coaching and motivating the team, and fostering innovation to support business development for both the organization and its partners.

Key Responsibilities


  • Team Leadership: Oversee the Field and Inside Sales teams, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Strategy & Structure: Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy, including team structure, performance metrics, and incentive programs.
  • Sales Growth: Develop value propositions and creative sales approaches to build new business, support existing clients, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Training & Coaching: Facilitate regular coaching sessions, sales training, and development of best practices. Encourage continuous learning within the team.
  • Process & Efficiency: Streamline sales operations, ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality sales documentation.
  • Customer Relationships: Collaborate with departments to enhance customer experience and manage escalated client issues with professionalism.
  • Sales Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as calls, quotes, and orders to measure success and drive performance improvements.
  • Revenue & Profit: Achieve budgeted sales, gross profit margins, and ensure the team’s efforts align with company financial goals.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • 5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • 2 years of leadership experience, managing sales teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in the material handling equipment industry is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
Work Environment:
This role involves working in diverse environments, including office settings, client sites (such as manufacturing and warehouses), and sometimes hazardous conditions. Safety protocols are essential when interacting with equipment and chemicals.
Physical Demands:
The role requires prolonged standing, walking, and occasionally stooping or climbing. Ability to maintain focus during long work hours is crucial.

Must be willing to travel in throughout the North East up to 50%
