Located on the bustling Madison Street in Forest Park, Escape Factor is devoted to bringing the best escape room experience to all visitors near and far.
Currently looking to fill the role of a part-time Game Master, Escape Factor is seeking energetic, responsible, and outgoing team members to be a part of a unique and exciting work environment. No two days will be the same as you will interact with people from all walks of life; from tourists looking for a memorable experience, to families looking to share quality time together, and even further to corporate groups seeking team building exercises.
An ideal candidate must have great customer service skills, the ability to problem solve, and an acute attention to detail. You will be challenged to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment. This is a highly competitive position with potential for growth.
Requirements:
- Able to work nights and weekends. Saturdays are a must.
- Must be available throughout the year, as this is not a seasonal position.

- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- General computer skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional and courteous presence in front of customers.
- Conduct “box office”-like duties to facilitate customer payments as needed.
- Accurately explain details and rules for each room showing.
- As a Game Master, will facilitate a one-hour “show”. During the management of this experience, you would set up the “stage”, communicate hints to customers/players, provide ambiance, facilitate and guide customers through the game, and debrief players after the experience.
- Reset rooms quickly and with great attention to detail.
- Provide explanations and tours to potential customers seeking information.
- Ability to make minor repairs on props
- Assist fellow employees as needed.
- General cleaning duties
- Extra responsibilities as needed.
- PLEASE NOTE: This is largely an on-demand, weekend-heavy position. Shifts may be sporadic, as hours are dictated by customer demand. As such, you may want to be VERY local to Escape Factor in order to attend an assigned reservation.
