Job Summary:
- The Weekend Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the resort’s facilities, grounds, and equipment remain in top condition.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to a welcoming guest experience.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
- Maintain and repair resort facilities, such as glamping wagons, tipis, kivas, and communal areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds, buildings, and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Assist with landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and maintaining outdoor areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with resort policies and regulations.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and report needs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 8-10 hours per day).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
