Production Manager

PRODUCTION MANAGER, MANUFACTURING

Escapod Trailers is one of the fastest-growing off-road camper manufacturers in the country. Based in Coalville, UT, we are looking for a full time Production Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible to oversee the operations and production elements of the organization ensuring high quality business activities with maximum efficiency, service, and profitability. You will report directly to the founder and CEO of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and improve manufacturing operations through objective based planning
• Drive, and nurture an environment of continuous improvement with key metrics for success being labor costs, and warranty claims
• Accountable for production goals, including throughput and quality
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures, providing resources and training
• Create a culture of personal-development for our employees to accelerate into new opportunities as we continue to grow
• Motivate, support, and provide guidance to production and supply chain leadership to meet strategic company initiatives and consistently meet revenue goals
• Oversee 20 employees in a 20k sq. ft manufacturing facility, including production and supply chain leads
• Maintain performance and efficiency metrics, identify areas for improvement and report results to executive leadership
• Manage finances, monitor budgets, expenses, and product unit costs to drive revenue and margin projections
• Guide the supply chain and inventory management team to maintain accurate and predictive inventory levels
• Reduce fragility through preventative maintenance, cross-training, promoting practices and succession planning

Qualifications:

• 5 Years of Experience in an equivalent or similar role
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing best practices
• Experience managing manufacturing environment using SQDC, 5S, and Six Sigma principles
• Proven leadership ability to motivate and manage large teams
• Dedicated to employee development and succession planning
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
