ESCO performs a full envelope of civil construction activities such as earthwork, utilities, concrete flat work, and concrete structures for both private and public clients. ESCO enjoys tackling diverse and challenging projects throughout Colorado and the surrounding states.
ESCO Construction Company is an established well-respected construction firm who is growing significantly, and we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Earthwork Foreman to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Heavy Civil, must be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Manage and assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties under close supervision.
- Manage field crew in day-to-day production of heavy civil construction projects (earthwork, concrete, utilities, etc.)
- Exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
- Order tools and equipment
- Interpret blueprints/plans and construct accordingly
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work safely and productively.
- Ability to take direction from supervisors and implement plans with other team members.
- Ability to understand budgets and productions.
- 5 years’ experience in heavy civil.
- Excellent work ethic and team-oriented attitude, some Saturday work will be required.
