Purpose of Role:
Under the direction of the VP, Global Supply Chain, the Sr. Director, Global Supply Chain partners with all levels of the organization, including executives, to develop, implement, and execute the ESCO Division’s global supply chain function across all regions; which includes business planning; leadership and direction; budgeting; continuous improvement of global supply chain processes; and implementing the global supply chain strategy and vision.
In addition, this role directly supervises global demand planning; inventory planning; planning systems; digital supply chain roadmap and project execution; global FGI levels and governance structure. Oversees global Executive SIOP process as well as supply chain master data governance, systems and analytic teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Service Metrics: Achieve ESCO’s targeted on-time delivery and other supply chain service metrics by regularly collaborating with regional managing directors to enhance processes and address service needs.
- Global Inventory Management: Manage ESCO’s global finished goods inventories by overseeing budgeting and governance, implementing best practices and digital capabilities, and working closely with regional managing directors to optimize inventory levels.
- Digital Strategic Vision: Lead ESCO’s supply chain digital strategic vision by setting team goals aligned with ESCO’s strategic needs and global technology trends, advocating for significant digital investments, and ensuring successful project implementation with cross-functional teams.
- Executive SIOP Program: Direct ESCO’s monthly Executive SIOP program by fostering cross-functional collaboration among Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, and Finance to advise the Executive team on tradeoffs and develop a rolling 12-month consensus plan using advanced modeling capabilities.
- Team Leadership and Strategy: Manages the ESCO Global Supply Chain function across multiple regions in multiple departments (Senior leader, leading mid-level managers supervising teams of teams ). Lead a global team of over 20 international planners and analysts to meet departmental objectives, contribute to ESCO GSC SLT in forming strategy and executing key initiatives, and promote a flexible, cooperative, and customer-focused attitude within and between departments.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering and a Master’s degree, a plus.
- Ten years of progressive experience in business, operations, or supply chain management is a requirement.
- Substantial P&L responsibility over the last ten years. Ability to effectively read and understand detailed financial statements.
- Must have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing supply chain management/operations strategy.
- Must have demonstrated ability to share and engage others in vision of the business.
- Proven analytical skills and the ability to create short-, mid-, and long-term strategies.
- Must be driven and results oriented and demonstrate and ability to meet key metrics.
- Substantial experience in managing international inter-company relationships and an inter-company value chain.
