Purpose of Role:

Work as part of a team to improve supplier performance and reduce supply chain risk in externally sourced finished products including castings, machined parts and fabrications. Collaborate with teams across the organization and around the world to solve problems and build systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Focus Area: Manage part quality and new part releases at assigned suppliers

Focus Area: Work with our engineering teams to improve the quality of our internal specifications and provide feedback to encourage design for manufacturability

Focus Area: Assist with new supplier selection and development

Focus Area: Develop and document internal processes to mature our Supplier Quality organization

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Materials or related)
  • At least 2 years directly supporting a quality system in a manufacturing facility. Experience with Foundries or Castings is a Plus.
  • Leading or implementing a Quality Management System such as ISO9001 or AS9100.
  • Writing product specifications OR writing work instructions based on customer specifications
  • Must be willing to travel 10-20%
  • Permanently United States work authorization is required
