Requirements / Qualifications
All applicants must be current EUSD employees in good standing and possess a valid California nursing license (RN or LVN) and a current certificate of proficiency in First Aid and CPR, or a certificate in Basic Life Support, Healthcare Providers (BLS) issued by an authorized agency. Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license and the use of an automobile or proof of an equivalent mode of personal transportation.

These positions are made available for current EUSD employees only (see Merit rule 6.200.6 below).
Substitutes will only be offered assignments AFTER priorities a-c are met.
You must be available to work the entire summer program for which you apply; otherwise, you will not be considered for the position.
Merit Rule 6.200.6
Appointment to summer school, extended school year and intersession positions shall be made in this priority :
a) Employees who have worked in the classification, have successfully met the expectations of the class, and maintained necessary licenses or other requirements of the assignment.
b) Qualified employees working in other related classifications and successfully met the expectations of those classes, and maintained necessary licenses or other requirements of the assignment.
c) Qualified employees working in non-related classifications but who meet the minimum requirements of the classification for the assignment so as to provide evidence of ability to perform in such assignment.
d) Qualified persons not currently employed by the District in a regular-status position but meet the requirements of the classification for the assignment.
e) Qualified persons not currently employed by the District but meet the requirements of the classification for the assignment.
Comments and Other Information
LVN (Range 36)
4.5 hrs / day (8 : 15am-12 : 45pm) (June 23, 2025-July 18, 2025; Monday - Friday; No School July 4th Holiday)
Mandatory Prep Day (Friday June 20, 2025) 6.0 hours (8 : 00 am - 3 : 00 pm)
- The number of positions are subject to upward or downward moving pending sufficient student enrollment.
- Shift times may change slightly. Any changes will be communicated well in advance to the start of the program.
