The Methow Valley School District is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services to our students. As a key member of our special education team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders in students.
Job Summary:
- Provide speech and language services to students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and assessment to ensure student growth and progress
Essential Functions:
- Inform principals, teachers, and other school personnel of speech, language, and/or hearing services
- Organize and conduct identification programs for communication disorders
- Select and employ diagnostic procedures and develop guidelines for comprehensive remediation programs
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hold or eligible to hold a Washington ESA speech language pathologist certificate
- Completed all requirements for a master's degree in speech pathology
- Experience working with children with articulation and language disabilities
