We are recruiting for a Speech Language Pathologist to serve the Methow Valley School District. This role involves providing speech and language services to students in the area of student assessment, augmentative alternative communication devices, direct therapy, training, and consultation.
About the Role:
- Work directly with a Special Education Assistant Director to provide speech and language services to students
- Participate as a member of an education team in the assessment and program evaluation for students
- Serve as a liaison with medical and community service providers on behalf of children with disabilities and their families
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students in the areas of student assessment, direct therapy, and consultation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and assessment to ensure student growth and progress
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Washington ESA speech language pathologist certificate
- Experience working with children with articulation and language disabilities
