We are seeking a full-time Paralegal to support our trust and estate practice. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our attorneys with estate and trust administration, working directly with executors, trustees, and litigants. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including probate filings, tax return preparation, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file probate documents.
- Assist in the preparation of estate and inheritance tax returns.
- Draft estate-related deeds and other legal documents.
- Prepare pleadings and other court filings.
- Manage estate and trust-related accounting tasks.
- Assist attorneys with client communications via phone and email.
- Maintain accurate calendaring and manage deadlines.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, as this is a client-facing position.
- Technologically adept.
- Some experience in trust and estate administration is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
