We are looking for energetic and passionate people to join our team and make a positive impact while having a blast! A Coach handles camper group management and assists with sports instruction and games.
ESF’s multi-sports camp, coaches are hired in one of the following age groups :
- Rising 1st- 3rd grades
- Rising 4th-5th grade

- Sports Background : Experience playing youth, scholastic, or college sports preferred, especially soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, football, and / or lacrosse. Prior experience playing high school, club, or college sports preferred.
- Experience : We are looking for experience working with children. Previous experience working with children in a camp setting is preferred. Youth coaching experience preferred.
- Age Requirements : Must be at least age 18 by the start of camp.
- Hours : Typically, from 8 : 30 am to 3 : 40 pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for extended hours for additional income.
- Schedule Commitment : Any schedule changes or time off must be pre-approved by the site director.
- Required Training : Complete all required ESF and state-mandated training and onboarding.
- Dress Code : Maintain the "ESF Look" (camp uniform) and embody the spirit of the camp. Essential Job Responsibilities :
- Dive into the Camp Day! Promote and participate in daily sports activities with enthusiasm, collaborating effectively with fellow coaches. Assist with skill instruction periods in various sports including baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, flag football, team handball, lacrosse, and street hockey Help to instruct and act as a referee in various sports.
- Safety & Positive Group Management : Ensure the safety and well-being of campers with an emphasis on positive behavior and effective group management.
Promptly report any concerns to the Site Director.
Work outside, upright, and mobile for six (6) to eight (8) hours per day
