Job Summary
As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and directing programs to maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment and provide a safe, clean and efficient operation. You will do this through the appropriate utilization of resources and delegation of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safety of all operating equipment within the facility
- Develops training plans and supervise technicians work skills
- Monitors all work orders to ensure accuracy, completion, timeliness, and client satisfaction
- Handles the procurement of all repair parts for routine, preventative, and emergency repairs
- Develops and/or maintains a preventative maintenance schedule for all buildings and equipment
- Maintains the departmental budget with focus on parts, supplies and labor management
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent related experience
- Good working knowledge all aspects of plant maintenance to include but not limited to; Electrical, Boilers, Hydraulics, Compressed Air, Mechanical Equipment
- Must be capable of reading technical schematics and blue prints
- Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
