What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA Personal Care Assistant- In home care position at Esguerra Medical Practice?
This position is for in home care (not in office)
Duties:
- Assist client with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, etc
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Assist with meal preparation
- Perform housekeeping tasks, including laundry, errands
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with personal care techniques and equipment
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
