Job Summary:
As a CAE Analysis Engineer specializing in Structures and Durability at Eshocan, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing innovative vehicle architectures. Collaborating with a dedicated team of multi-disciplinary engineers, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing Finite Element (FE) Models: Create strength and durability models for vehicle components, including Body-in-White (BIW), closures, chassis, and other subsystems.
- Innovating CAE Processes: Challenge and improve traditional CAE methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Supporting Engineering Teams: Provide design direction based on comprehensive analyses to meet performance targets.
- Conducting Feasibility Analysis: Assess manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability of designs.
- Tool Proficiency: Quickly learn and adapt to necessary tools, and modify or create new solutions to meet project needs.
- Fundamental Knowledge: Deep understanding of mechanics of materials, statics, and dynamics.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex challenges, developing practical and theoretically sound solutions.
- Technical Communication: Strong skills in conveying complex technical information concisely and clearly.
- Broad Mechanical Engineering Understanding: Familiarity with heat transfer, vibrations, controls, and fluid dynamics.
- Finite Element and Fatigue Analysis Experience: Preferred experience in Finite Element Analysis, Fatigue Analysis, Applied Solid Mechanics, and Numerical Methods within a product development context.
- Statistical and Optimization Knowledge: Understanding of statistics and optimization techniques is a plus.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
