Job Description : Role :
The Campaign Technical Developer is an integral piece to GM's overall campaign's management operations process. You will be responsible to work closely with the Campaign Management Leads as well as GM brand leads to design, build, and execute Email, SMS, and Direct Mail campaign flow charts within Adobe Campaign for GM's internal Notification Platform.
- Responsibilities
o Configure and deploy transactional Email and SMS messaging in Adobe Campaign Message Center
o Create and manage templates in both UAT and Production environments
o Develop and test custom scripts for data manipulation and personalization (JavaScript)
o Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate and test with internal GM applications via APIs
o Monitor and troubleshoot Message Center environment, working with Marketing Technology team and other internal GM tech teams
o Work closely with business stakeholder to understand campaign requirements and deliver technical solutions
o Knowledge on email best practices, including deliverability
o Ability to prioritize work and communicate schedule
Required Skill Set
o Senior-Level Campaign Developer, highly skilled in Adobe Campaign (5 years)
Experience with Message Center (1 year)
Adobe Campaign Business Practitioner certified
o HTML expertise to adjust / create HTML
o CSS proficiency
o Proficient with JavaScript
o Experience with debugging defects in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
o Problem-solving skills
o Experience with email rendering tools (like Litmus, Email on Acid)
Preferred
A. 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years and a Master's degree
B. Knowledge of Information Technology practices
C. Specific Industry knowledge
D. Attention to detail, important to monitor and audit
