Job: Technical Trainer – AdvancedLocation: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite, no remote work)Rate: $65 max on C2CDuration: 1.5 year.Need two resources for this position, closing by Feb 16th, 20253.0 Scope of WorkThe Consultant will work with the Child Support Program Operational Procedures and Training Processaugmenting current program resources by providing technical assistance and consultation services in supportof the development and revision of instructor-led and computer-based training, and other work related toupdating the Program’s instructional material.This position will work and coordinate with agency executive and managing sponsors, technical and functionalstaff, contractors, and Program operational and support processes.3.1 Experience, Duties, and Responsibilities –Technical TrainerRequired experience:Minimum of three years of experience developing instructor-led and computer-based training.Experience writing technical instructions.Minimum of three years of experience working with Articulate Storyline 360.Experience creating eLearning videos.Preferred Experience:Experience with knowledge base software.Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.Required Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and revise instructor-led and computer-based training using a variety of instructionalmethods.Create and edit content for work instructions (user guides).Conduct research and analysis to evaluate system and procedural changes and their impact toinstructional materials.Coordinate activities with operational and support processes and the OPT unit team members toensure documents are accurately and timely created or revised.Coordinate review and approval of training documents with the team leads, Revenue ProgramAdministrators, operational processes, and Program senior management.Identify key information from subject matter experts, existing procedures, work instructions andtraining materials, course evaluations and feedback documents to create or revise easilyunderstood, engaging instructional material.Demonstrate proficiency in the appropriate use of grammar, punctuation, spelling, plain language,and logical content flow to develop creative course content.Follow Department and Operational Procedures and Training unit standards for the development,review, and approval of instructional material.Demonstrate proficiency in the use of training development applications to include but not limitedto Power Point and Articulate Storyline 360.Create measurable course objectives, meaningful course interactions and quizzes that align withthose objectives.Provide quality assurance and technical assistance in the development and revision ofinstructional materials.Follow established plans and processes. Provide recommendations for updates as requested.Attend and document meetings related to assigned projects. Schedule and lead meetings andprovide agendas, presentations and minutes as requested.Convey project information to Child Support Program staff, contractors and other partners asrequested, to include sharing specific skills and unique knowledge required to develop instructionalmaterial for the Child Support Program.3.2 EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONSEducation - bachelor’s degree or certification in Instructional Design or other related field, orequivalent work experience.
