Overview
ESI is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Kennesaw, Georgia. The Project Engineer will lead the project-specific, multi-disciplined group of engineers throughout the duration of the project. This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, five years of experience in the design and construction of steam and power generation plants, and five years of experience as a Project Engineer leading a multi-disciplined team in an EPC Environment. Project Engineer
Responsibilities :
Lead the overall design and engineering effort for a project
- Assist Project Manager and Project Controls with the development of the initial project schedule
- Coordinate resources with the Engineering Department Managers
- Review project drawings and specifications to maintain contract compliance
- Coordinate vendor quotations, equipment procurement, field engineering, and construction support
- Manage engineering schedule, status of deliverables, and continually update project controls
- Manage Request for Information (RFI) Process
- Manage Design Change Notice (DCN) Process
- Communicate impacts to overall schedule and budget with Project Manager
- Respond to all design / engineering questions from the client
