Responsibilities:
- Constructing and repairing walls, foundations, chimney, and other brick or stone structures.
- Mixing mortar and grout according to established formulas.
- Cutting and shaping stone and bricks to fit specific requirements.
- Installation of architectural cut stone (granite, marble, limestone, sandstone) & related support steel & anchors.
- Proficiency in layouts -constructing, CMU/brick/precast materials, restoration- brick replacement/ tuckpointing, etc.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
- Commercial construction masonry experience is required.
- 2 years’ experience as a skilled mason and or/ masonry restoration.
- Knowledge of various masonry materials, techniques, and applications.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in application.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Certifications:
- Valid driver's license
- OSHA Safety Certification
