Eskola, LLC – The Chattanooga, Tennessee branch is looking for a driven and experienced Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to join our team! This individual should be willing to learn our services, our mission, our values, and our industry to start providing solutions for a large client base.
As a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative, you will lead the way in creating new prospects and moving them through the sales cycle to provide real, customer-based solutions to their building envelope challenges. This role is responsible for identifying potential clients, nurturing relationships, and closing sales for commercial roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of commercial roofing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and target prospective clients in the commercial roofing sector.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and property managers.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, including after-sales follow-up.
Project Consultation
- Conduct site visits to assess client needs and provide customized roofing solutions.
- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and cost estimates for clients.
- Educate clients on the benefits, features, and maintenance of various roofing systems.
Market Expertise
- Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project specifications meet client expectations and industry standards.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and project details using CRM software.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years proven sales experience, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
- Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation processes is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Not afraid of heights or ladders
- Ability to get on/off roofs
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with large-scale commercial roofing projects.
- Existing network of industry contacts.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
