The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and interpreting psychological tests, preparing detailed reports, and providing professional recommendations. This role requires expertise in assessing cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and personality functioning across diverse populations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological evaluations for individuals referred by authorized agencies, including children and adults. Administer and interpret standardized psychological tests to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Develop comprehensive reports that include diagnostic impressions, treatment recommendations, and relevant referrals. Provide expert opinions on mental health conditions, competency, and disability status when required. Ensure all assessments align with state and federal guidelines, ethical standards, and best practices. Collaborate with referring agencies, including social services, schools, and the legal system, to ensure proper case management. Maintain accurate documentation and submit reports within required timeframes. Participate in case conferences, court hearings, and multidisciplinary meetings when necessary. Stay updated on psychological assessment techniques, laws, and policies affecting psychological evaluations. Qualifications and Skills: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field. State licensure or certification as a psychologist (or eligibility to obtain licensure). Experience in administering and interpreting psychological tests. Strong knowledge of psychological evaluation methodologies, DSM-5 criteria, and legal/ethical considerations. Excellent report-writing skills and ability to communicate complex findings effectively. Ability to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting court-ordered or legally mandated psychological evaluations. Familiarity with forensic, educational, or social service settings. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.
