ESO's mission is to improve community health and safety through the power of data. This position is for an Integrations Engineer as part of our Extracts & Integrations Onboarding team with a focus on connecting our FEMS products with external Partners, Vendors, and Regulatory Authorities.
As an Integrations Engineer, you will report to the Extracts Manager, serving our customers and supporting our onboarding teams to deliver NEMSIS, NFIRS, and soon NERIS data to State and Regulatory Authorities, Billing Partners, and 3rd Party Vendors and serve as a subject matter expert in ESO Data delivery methods and content. This position will be part of our Extracts & Integrations team based in Austin, TX and can be remote.
You will play a key role in executing our mission by fostering relationships with Data Managers, Billing Partners and 3rd Party Vendors and collaborating with a cross-functional teams on accuracy, process, quality improvements and scalability.
What You'll Be Doing - the day to day
You will be instrumental in onboarding new customer tenants to submit their data to repositories, Configuring and troubleshooting Billing and other extracts for new and existing clients, and partnering with cross functional teams to drive innovative ways to improve performance and scalability. This position and team serve as a conduit between Clients Services, Support, Product, and Engineering providing subject matter expertise in data delivery methods and content.

- Completing Extract and Reporting related onboarding projects in Salesforce Prestige and monitoring, troubleshooting, correcting and resubmissions of each
- NEMSIS State Reporting
- NFIRS Reporting
- Upcoming NERIS
- Billing Extracts
- Vendor connections
- Troubleshooting issues with NFIRS/NEMSIS file content, submission and data validity
- Working escalations in our Jira PINT board from Support, Onboarding and other teams
- Creating Bug or Task tickets for Product Engineering and testing Product releases
- Pre-Sales calls and consults for both data submissions and 3rd party integrations
- 2 years of supporting Fire and EMS customer extract and submission issues
- Strong experience with Salesforce, Jira, and Confluence
- Strong experience with Internal Tools, Cloud Manager, and FTP
- Familiar with Agile development structure, scrum and PI/Sprint increments
- Willingness to learn and grow every day to make a difference
- Experience with NFIRS and NEMSIS file structures
- Experience with reading XML, ASCII, custom Txt, and Json and Schematron rule sets with a focus on NEMSIS, NFIRS and NERIS data sets
- Proficiency with tools such as Notepad and Visual Studio Code
