What are the responsibilities and job description for the AEM Lead position at ESOL?
We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic Tech lead for delivery roles in large scale AEM project. Candidate will be leading a team of 8-to-12-member team and responsible for technical deliverables of team. Candidate will be responsible to provide technical directions during implementation phase and detail out the design to a level which can be used by developers for development.
Candidate will be responsible for following:
- Technical design
- Technical delivery
- Providing technical direction to team and addressing roadblocks
- Automated Unit test cases development
- Defining best practices and making sure deliverables are adhering to it
- Discussion with architects, customers, stake holders
- Providing inputs for backlog prioritization
- Identifying blockers for user stories and taking measures to address it
- Understanding of NFRs and detailing steps to achieve NFR benchmarks
- Performance optimization
- Estimations of modules and stories
- Code review
Qualifications
- 8 years of overall experience
- 3 years of hands-on experience with AEM as a developer or tech lead
- Capability to understand overall architecture and define detailed design
- Minimum 2 full life-cycle implementation experience on AEM 6.x, preferably 6.3 ?as Developer
- Deep Expertise creating custom AEM components (JSP, Sightly) and OSGI bundle
- Knowledge of AEM workflows, user management, roles and I18N knowledge
- Content migration to AEM especially using automation techniques
- Consume and integrate rest and soap services to AEM
Desirable skills
- AEM Lead developer / Architect certification
- Understanding of personalization use cases
- Understanding of launch and Adobe analytics
- Agile Development Methodology experience is advantageous
- Understanding Integration of AEM with e-commerce applications in headless and non-headless deployments
- API development experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
