Database Engineer/Architect(AWS Lambda, CFT , Ansible, Aurora )
6 Months contract - Contract to hire (CTH)
Location: Onsite in McLean, VA - Hybrid (( The position is open to candidates in Dallas, TX, with a preference for McLean, VA)
Must Have Qualifications:
- Database Engineer/Architect
- Database Engineer/Architect with a strong background in database automation ( AWS Lambda, CFT) is must
- Proficiency in at least two of the following scripting languages is required: Python, Ansible, and PowerShell. Is must
- database architecture is must
- MongoDB or Postgres Aurora exp is ideal
About role :
- The role requires a Database Engineer/Architect with a strong background in database automation and cloud environments.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing automation solutions, particularly in AWS Cloud using tools like AWS Lambda and CFT (CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in at least two of the following scripting languages is required: Python, Ansible, and PowerShell.
- Key responsibilities include supporting cloud automation initiatives, setting up environments in AWS, and managing databases such as Postgres Aurora and MongoDB.
- The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise in database automation, cloud environments, and architecture, along with a proactive approach to solving complex database challenges.
