Role: Inside Sales Professional
Location: Mclean, VA /Edison, NJ
Lead Generation and Prospecting
  • Researching and identifying potential customers through databases, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Cold calling, emailing, and using other outreach methods to connect with prospects.
  • Qualifying leads by understanding their needs and assessing their fit for the company s services.
Relationship Building
  • Maintaining regular communication with potential and existing clients to build trust.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries and providing initial consultations.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their pain points and requirements.
Sales Enablement
  • Presenting IT service offerings to prospects using email, phone calls, and virtual meetings.
  • Creating and sharing tailored proposals, presentations, and quotes.
  • Working with technical teams to clarify customer requirements and ensure accurate solutions are proposed.
CRM Management and Reporting
  • Keeping the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system up to date with lead and opportunity information.
  • Tracking sales metrics such as conversion rates, pipeline progress, and revenue targets.
  • Generating regular reports for sales managers to provide insights into sales activities.
Collaboration with Marketing
  • Coordinating with the marketing team to implement campaigns and generate inbound leads.
  • Providing feedback from prospects to refine marketing strategies and materials.
  • Utilizing content like case studies, whitepapers, and blogs to engage leads.
Negotiation and Deal Closure Support
  • Assisting in pricing discussions and preparing contracts or agreements.
  • Supporting outside sales teams by setting up meetings, conducting follow-ups, and handling initial objections.
  • Ensuring smooth handoff of closed deals to delivery or account management teams.
Market Research and Insights
  • Monitoring industry trends and competitors to stay informed about market dynamics.
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-selling or upselling IT services.
  • Providing insights to management to refine services or expand offerings.
Key Skills for Inside Sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of IT services and solutions like cloud computing, managed services, cybersecurity, etc.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of persistence and a customer-centric approach
