This requires a second in person interview at Texas Parks and Wildlife Headquarters in Austin, TX.
This worker will perform manual and automated testing of low to complex business applications. Works with team lead, other QA Analyst and project managers to analyze requirements and test new or existing procedures, information systems, or utility programs for efficiency, effectives and to verify they conform to the requirements. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
The automation engineer should have extensive experience in writing automated test scripts using Selenium Web Driver, Selenium IDE, Java, Eclipse, Jenkins, JMeter, Blaze Meter, Appium, SOAPUI, Postman, Wave or any similar testing tools.
Required skills:
- 7 years of experience with Performing manual and automated testing of web or mobile applications
- 7 years of experience with Developing test cases for testing mobile and web applications
- 7 years of experience with Documenting testing results in a detailed manner
- 7 years of experience with Implement automated test scripts using Selenium, Java or similar testing tools.
- 5 years of Experience in testing web services using Postman, SOAPUI or similar tools.
- 5 years of Version control such as Subversion, Gitlab
- 5 years of Working in a project team environment, Agile Methodology
- 5 years of experience in Testing to ensure accessibility and other existing standards are met
- 5 years of experience in Maintaining effective working relationships.
- 5 years of experience with Documenting testing results in Bugzilla, Jira or a similar tool
- 3 years of experience with Skill writing SQL in industry standard relational databases.
Preferred skills:
- 5 years of experience with Managing multiple task and priorities
- 5 years of Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff
- 3 years of experience in Leading QA team
- 2 years of experience in Performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
