ESP Associates, Inc. is in search of a Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Director to join our Transportation Business Unit Catering to lead the expansion of this service line in the public and private sectors. We're looking for someone with significant construction, inspection, and administration experience, as well as strong ties to Texas and the Southeast, specifically North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
The Director will collaborate closely with ESP’s Transportation Business Unit leaders, client managers, teaming partners, and other key members of our team. This role entails leading established groups of Engineers and Inspectors, overseeing Strategic Plan Implementation, Personnel Management, Project Management processes, Operational Administration, and Business Development for ESP’s CEI and CM services.
The ideal candidate is outgoing with a determined personality, capable of fostering growth and development. They'll work closely with our leaders to ensure client needs are met, leading business planning, marketing efforts, meeting financial targets, and driving the firm’s growth and production strategy forward.
Responsibilities :
- Generate business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
- Cultivate and sustain client relationships while exploring new business avenues.
- Direct and mentor CEI leaders within the business unit.
- Ensure fulfillment of client contracts and meeting financial performance goals.
- Effectively communicate high-level concepts with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with company leaders to support and lead business development activities.
- Negotiate contracts with clients and subconsultants.
- Ensure proper project setup and financial management.
- Utilize Client Relationship Manager (CRM) for accurate reporting and tracking of business opportunities.
- Review and acting upon financial reports, accounts receivable reports, performance metrics, etc.
- Identify and address skills and knowledge gaps within the team through internal and external training opportunities.
- Lead personnel forecasting.
