Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Electrical Laborer to support our electrical installation teams across commercial and residential job sites in the Houston 77070 area. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals seeking to start a career in the electrical trade and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist electricians with pulling wire, installing conduit, and setting fixtures.
Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
Dig trenches, set up ladders, and prepare work areas.
Measure, cut, and assemble electrical materials and components.
Keep job sites clean and organized.
Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times.
Support setup and teardown of temporary power systems.
Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
0–1 year of experience in construction or electrical work (entry-level welcome).
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction safety practices.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions (heat, crawl spaces, ladders, etc.).
Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors and licensed electricians.
Preferred (Not Required):
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification.
Experience on commercial or residential job sites.
Interest in pursuing a licensed electrical apprenticeship.
