Summary: We seek an energetic fundraiser to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The Senior Manager of Annual Giving is responsible for leading and executing a multi-channel annual giving program that supports the mission and strategic objectives of esp. Embarking on a multi-million dollar comprehensive campaign, this position will oversee all aspects of fundraising for esp’s Annual Fund, including direct mail, digital campaigns, phone outreach, crowdfunding, and fundraising events. The incumbent desires deeply rewarding work raising significant resources for a mission-focused organization with an average annual fundraising of $10 million. The Senior Manager will work collaboratively with marketing and development staff, leadership, and volunteers to expand donor engagement, increase philanthropic support, and enhance the overall donor experience by sharing stories and impact with annual donors. Additionally, the Senior Manager will develop innovative strategies to strengthen donor retention, grow leadership annual giving, and optimize fundraising performance through data analysis and emerging best practices. This position will report directly to the Director of Development.
Top Five Responsibilities:
- Refine and implement a strategic annual giving program, sharing stories and communicating impact, by utilizing various solicitation methods, including direct mail, digital fundraising, phone outreach, texting, crowdfunding, and fundraising events.
- Strengthen relationships and foster ongoing philanthropic support at each esp site by implementing best practices, providing team training, and offering coaching and support to annual giving staff across the organization.
- Analyze donor data and fundraising trends to refine strategies and maximize annual giving revenue.
- Collaborate with esp site teams, marketing, major gifts, and donor stewardship teams to create cohesive donor engagement strategies and ensure seamless donor experiences.
- Attend and perform additional duties as assigned on special events, which frequently fall on nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in annual giving, fundraising, or development, with a proven track record of success.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in annual giving fundraising
- Management experience
- Ability to analyze data, develop reports, and implement data-driven fundraising strategies.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or similar CRM systems).
- Strong understanding of direct marketing principles, digital fundraising, and donor engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with donors, volunteers, and internal stakeholders.

- Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 base salary plus opportunities for additional performance-based variable compensation
