Team Lead

Overview

Seeking a motivated and experienced Lead to oversee production operations and support the team in achieving daily operational goals. The Lead will work closely with supervisors and employees to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety compliance in a fast-paced food processing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Leadership: Assist in overseeing production processes, ensuring that team members meet performance and quality standards.
• Training & Development: Train and guide employees in proper work procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with food safety and processing regulations.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce workplace safety policies, report hazards, and promote a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and company guidelines.
• Workflow Coordination: Ensure production lines run efficiently by managing labor allocation, materials, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor operational issues, escalating major concerns to supervisors as needed.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of production, attendance, and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or agricultural environment preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team, communicate effectively, and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of machinery, equipment operation, and production processes is a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in a cold or humid environment.
• Schedule Flexibility: Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
