Job Summary
Basic Function
To ensure all parts/products leaving the quality department meet required specifications.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Conducts initial, in-process, and final inspections as required.
2. Conduct dock audits and maintain correct and thorough data/records.
3. Completes quality forms as required.
4. Prevents non-conforming parts/products from leaving the facility.
5. Report findings to supervisor and take appropriate action.
6. Other duties when required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of dock auditing.
- Must possess the ability to use tape measures and calipers, hand tools and torch.
- Must be able to interpret blue prints including GD&T.
- Must be able to read and understand specifications, job orders, Bill of Materials, and work instructions.
- Must be able to lift at least 30lbs.
- Ability to communicate quality non-conformances verbally and effectively present information to supervisor, co-workers and management.
- Must have knowledge/experience with measurement systems, variable gages, measurement scales, angle measurement instruments, calibration systems, blue prints and engineer drawings.
- Ability to work in a TEAM environment.
Education/Training
Degree: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
Prior dock auditing experience a plus.
‑ Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.16 - $24.28 per hour
