We are currently hiring a Mechanical Designer Engineer I for our Engineering Department. We offer an awesome benefits package, clean environment, and opportunities for advancement!
Hours: Full-time salary, Mon-Fri; 40 hours
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designs sheet metal parts, builds assemblies and associated drawings using AutoCAD, adhering to engineering best practices.
- Designs and releases basic custom modifications to a standard ENA chamber model.
- Possesses knowledge of Bill of Material structures and basic ERP functionality to effectively fulfill job duties.
- Utilizes ENA problem-solving process to identify and correct errors in work outputs.
- Follows engineering group procedures and ISO standards.
- Creates designs that are efficiently and cost-effectively manufactured within the limitations of our own production facilities and those of our affiliates.
- Works under supervision.
- Regular, physical attendance is required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Engineering degree- Associate’s required, Bachelor’s preferred.
- Must be able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, fundamentals of plane, solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- Proficiency with Inventor/Autocad required.
